Day and Knight all-day skate jam at the Monkey Cafe Swansea

My friend Tom is putting on an all day skate jam/gig/market bonanza in the Monkey Cafe, Swansea this sunday (August 16). Taint are playing and Exist will be there with some mini-ramp comp.

I know you can’t see shit in that flyer but I couldn’t find the human-size one and I have stuff to do today.

Beautiful Losers in the ICA and BFI this month

Aaron Rose’s new documentary about the rise of street art in New York is being previewed in the ICA and BFI this month before the DVD is released on August 24.

It looks so good. Harmony Korine, Shepard Fairey and Ed Templeton to name but a few of the artists involved.

This guy called Squeak E. Clean is on the soundtrack and he’s produced some pretty cool videos like this bird one. He is also the brother of Spike Jonze.
