Went down to see The Computers in The Old Blue last night and saw an awesome band called Sharks! You should check them out on their myspace.
Sharks is such a good name for a band. Sharks rule. There was an awesome feature in Huck last issue about sharks becoming extinct. You should read it I’m not kidding. Did you know that 100,000,000 sharks get killed each year and that their numbers have decreased by 99 per cent over the last 30 years. Mr Masterson, who wrote the article, attributes a lot of this to the bad rap they get in the media/arts. That sucks so bad. I’m glad a cool band is reclaiming the name shark positively for a kick-ass sound.

Turbowolf were pretty funny and super hot.

The Computers have a new video. Nice close-ups boys!

On my recent escapade to France I had the good fortune to meet the editor-in-chief and creative mind behind Brotherhood publishing, Bruno Debauche.
Aside from a pretty rad “Dogtown” tattoo across his back and having the coolest skateboarding kid ever, Bruno has also nurtured a publishing company that has awesome titles Beach Brother, Flavour and Spray on its roster.
Spray is like a French Huck but slightly more music-orientated. Check out the awesome Harmony Korine cover below.
I would love to work with them one day… now there’s just the small task of learning French. Poulet potage is something I’ve picked up. Pfft, how hard can it be.
